This article will give you step-by-step instructions on how to change your FPL team name. You can do it on a mobile device or desktop/laptop computer.
How to change your FPL team name on a mobile device
To change your FPL team name on a mobile device, you must log in to FPL via a web browser. You can’t change your FPL team name from the official PL app!
First, open a web browser on your mobile device. Then, type in the URL fantasy.premierleague.com and log in using your username and password.
Once you have logged in, click the Pick Team tab. See the image below.
In the Pick Team tab, scroll down the page until you see Admin. You’ll find it at the bottom of the page. Below the Admin text, you’ll see links to Team Details and User Profile.
Click Team Details. This will open the page for changing your team’s information. Just type a new team name and click the Update Details button at the bottom of the page.
Your team name should be updated immediately.
How to change your FPL team name on the app
You cannot change your FPL team name from the official PL app. Follow the instructions above to change your FPL team name on a mobile device.
How to change your FPL team name on a laptop or desktop computer
Changing your FPL team name on a laptop or desktop computer is easy. Open a web browser and go to fantasy.premierleague.com. Next, login using your username and password.
Once you are logged in, click the Pick Team tab.
Scroll down the page until you see Admin on the right sidebar. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Below the Admin text, you’ll see the Team Details and User Profile links.
Click Team Details to access a page to change your team’s information. Next, you’ll see a text box with your FPL team name. Make the changes you want and click the Update Details button. You are now redirected to the Pick Team page, and your FPL team name should be updated.
If you still see the old name, try hitting refresh on your browser (click CTRL+R).
