Everton vs Crystal Palace betting preview and predictions

Everton took a hard-fought win over Watford last weekend. Toffees were down two goals at first half but climbed to a 2-3 away victory with a 90+ min Theo Walcott goal. This was some balsam to their wounds since Everton lost a 2-goal lead against Newcastle with two 90+ min goals a week earlier.

In general, the team has been climbing up in standings recently. It’s no surprise the trend started to turn after Everton sacked Marco Silva. They are 5-4-1 from the previous ten PL matches only losing to Man City at away soil.

Crystal Palace lost their second home match in a row without scoring a goal. Eagles were defeated by Sheffield United 0-1 and by Southampton 0-2 a week earlier. This isn’t exactly the first time Palace have performed poorly at home.

The important thing one must note here is the situation with goal averages. Palace have played 10 “unders” (< 2.5 goals) in the previous 12 league matches. One of the “overs” was against Man City, where the match was still 0-0 at half-time.

Palace will be dragging the goals down in this match as well. We’d also note that the previous two meetings ended 0-0 and eight out of 10 previous meetings between Everton and Palace shave ended to U2.5 results.

We bet U2.5 at 1.75 odds widely available.

Sheffield United vs Bournemouth betting preview and predictions

Sheffield United continued their fantastic season against Crystal Palace last weekend and grabbed a 0-1 victory from London. Blades are still fighting for the Eurocup positions and possess the best defense in the Premier League after Liverpool.

What’s interesting is the fact they have lost five home matches but only twice at away. Sheffield United have only lost against Man City and Liverpool on their travels but avoided losses against all other teams.

Bournemouth have been in a horror run for the past few months. It finally looks like their situation is improving, though. Cherries have taken crucial home victories against Brighton (3-1) and Aston Villa (2-1) and also scored some goals in the process.

The team is still one of the poorest scorers on its travels. Only Norwich have scored fewer away goals this season.

The bet should be obvious here. Sheffield United have played nine “unders” in a row and there is no stopping in this run. Blades hit < 2.5 goal results against strong teams and poor teams, at home and at away soil.

We bet U2.5 at 1.70 odds widely available.

Wolves vs Leicester betting preview and predictions

Wolves played a hard-fought draw against Manchester United last round. We had a tip on O2 goals in the match, but the game ended to a fair draw at Old Trafford. One shouldn’t judge Wolves too much based on this result, though. There have been at least two goals in every single Wolves home match this season.

In general, they have seven “overs” out of the previous 10 league matches. Wolves have skilled attackers, Adam Traore creating chances and the team is in a good shape. We’d except a positive approach here.

Leicester played a 2-2 home draw against Leicester a week ago. Foxes have turned a corner after a poor run and defeated West Ham 4-1 prior to this. Results are coming again even if the top striker Jamie Vardy hasn’t found the net recently.

Foxes have been wild all season but their recent results are especially “overish”. There have been eight O2.5 results in a row in Leicester matches. The season average is 3.20 from all matches of Leicester.

This match has a nice potential for goals. The season opener ended 0-0, but this game wasn’t a boring one either. We bet O2.5 goals at 2.05 odds widely available.
